My name is Phoebe Colvin and I have been playing soccer for my whole life. Soccer has helped me make friends, step out of my comfort zone, and grow as a person, not just player. One of the most important parts of my journey is having to join a new club in order to further my growth. I had never needed to fight to make rosters, or for playing time, and I was being pushed in new ways. However, I would never have become the player I am today with out that experience, and that challenge pushed me to want to play soccer as a college athlete. It's also showed me the versatility I possess, playing many positions including center back, outside back, central midfielder, and forward. Academics is very important to me as well and ever since I was young I knew I wanted to attend a school that would be challenging and selective. College soccer is a new and challenging environment that I know I will thrive in.
