My name is Wil Yamka, I'm a Class of 2022, 6'2", 195 lbs left handed pitcher from Oakville, Ontario, Canada. I'm an excellent student with a 3.95 Cumulative GPA / 3.97 Core GPA and have earned numerous academic awards over my high school career. I'm a multi-sport athlete playing both baseball and basketball but my passion is pitching. I love being on the mound, to compete and the challenge of getting hitters out. Over the last 8 months my hard work has really paid off. I have made significant strides physically; gaining 20 lbs, getting stronger and increasing my fastball to 87 mph from 82 mph last summer. I feel I still have a lot of room to grow. My goals over the next year are to get stronger, to hit 90 mph and to join a college program to further both my academic and baseball career. I will continue to work hard in the classroom, in the gym and on the field to help both myself and my team succeed.
