Personal Statement

For a long time, it has been a goal of mine to play collegiate baseball. On the field, I try my best to bring a hard work ethic, good character, hustle, and the willingness to prepare to win. Also, being a good teammate is very important to me. Most of all, academics are where my main focus is. I plan on becoming a neonatologist.

Club Information

  • Seasons of Club Experience
  • 3 seasons
  • 2018 Middle Tennessee Longhorns (16u)
  • 2016 Dixie Youth Baseball
  • I played Dixie Youth baseball from the age of 8 until 14. I made the all-star team a few times and made one state tournament appearance (13-14 state tournament.) Dixie Youth was a great and fun experience.
  • 2016 Tennessee Chaos (16u)
  • We only played in two fall tournaments. In our first tournament, I only got out once the whole day and started all 3 games we played. We were winless, but we had fun playing ball and getting better. I was 14.

Events

  • Camp/Event
  • Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series
  • 6/14/19 to 6/17/19
  • What an awesome experience! I was the only one from Tennessee. I learned so much, was blessed to attend a CWS game (Louisville vs. Vanderbilt), and learned from an MLB scout! After this, I was invited to more Baseball Factory Select events!
  • Camp/Event
  • Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryout
  • 4/28/19 to 4/28/19
  • I was invited and decided to attend as a birthday present. It was a great decision as it was a great opportunity to improve my skills and find out what my strengths and weaknesses are from a professional standpoint. I actually performed well enough to be selected for the Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series event.
  • Camp/Event
  • WWBA Perfect Game - Memorial Day Classic at Lakepoint
  • 5/25/18 to 5/28/18
  • Lakepoint was a great experience to say the least. In this tournament, we won one game and enjoyed the experience. I didn't strike out any at Lakepoint and put the ball in play (mostly solid contact) every time, except when I got hit by a pitch.
  • Camp/Event
  • Bryan College Prospect Camp
  • 10/14/17 to 10/14/17
  • Bryan College has a very beautiful campus and very nice facilities. I also attended in 2016 as a freshman.
  • Camp/Event
  • Belmont High School Prospect Camp
  • 9/23/17 to 9/23/17
  • I received extremely helpful instruction from Coach Smith. He told me what I needed to work on in order to become a better hitter and potential Division 1 player. I gratefully appreciate his instruction because I have saw good results so far and hopefully more in the future.
  • Camp/Event
  • Mississippi State High School Winter Fielding / Hitting Camp
  • 1/14/17 to 1/15/17
  • Mississippi State's facilities are out of this world. Coach Brown was such a wonderful man to meet. At the conclusion of the fielding day of camp, he said in his conclusion that I was the most improved player throughout the day. I gratefully appreciated that statement and all of the advice he and the other coaches gave me. I was a freshman at the time, and he said that he was sure that I would one day be able to play collegiate ball. Truthfully, I was very blessed to attend this camp and meet Coach Brown.
  • Camp/Event
  • Vanderbilt Summer High School Prospect Camp
  • 7/10/16 to 7/14/16
  • Vanderbilt has a beautiful complex. What little time that I got to explore campus other than the athletic facilities left me surprised. The overall campus is so nice and large. I think my favorite memory of camp was when I hit a line drive RBI single back up the middle off of Coach Corbin in the Groundball Scrimmage. I really enjoyed this camp because I learned so much and got to play with such a great group of guys.

  • Club/Travel Team
  • Also, my sports career includes tournament bass fishing. Right now, I am pretty much just beginning, as I have only fished two tournaments thus far.
