2022 Highlights Personal Statement
I am a 2022 graduate of Cookeville High School in Tennessee. I committed to Southwest Tennessee Community College upon graduation. I was offered by several schools (to include Piedmont University, Cumberland University, Reinhardt University, and others) but chose the JUCO route. I also had numerous serious conversations with Tennessee Tech, Samford, and Austin Peay. Due to unfortunate circumstances within the coaching ranks of those schools nothing transpired.
During my Fall Semester at Southwest I played 2nd Base and Center Field. As a Freshman, I led the team in Batting Average for a good portion of the Fall. I also finished with a 1.000% Fielding Percentage at 2nd and CF.
After the Fall Semester I decided that Southwest was not the right fit for me. I came home after the Fall and took the year off. I feel that the time off has helped me and I'm ready to get back on the field. I've worked out and kept myself ready for the next opportunity. I also still have 4 years of eligibility remaining.
