Personal Statement

Noel LeBlanc Class of 2025 at Lausanne Collegiate School. For the past 3years, i have played on the varsity team. while starting as the center fielder and batting 3rd whole. Also being a starting and relief pitcher.

Throughout my years of playing, I have had to go through many different situations that have led me to become who I am today. For example, when I started competitive travel ball, I usually played centerfield. My coach decided to challenge me one day, trying my hand at catching. I was shocked and nervous because it happened so fast, and I would also be replacing one of the best catchers on the team because he was injured. But, the minute I put on the catcher’s gear and squatted behind home plate, I knew what I had to do to win the ballgame. Because of this, I’ve learned to be more open-minded with my thoughts. I have learned to be adventurous and never be scared to try anything new, including taking the mound when bases are loaded and pitching one pitch at a time to win the ballgame.

Baseball has taught me to be confident and always put 100% into everything I do when I cross the two white lines. I have always been a person that never settles in my position of placement. I want to work harder and harder each day, so I can surpass each expectation I make. My goals for the next few years are to be an active member of my baseball high school program and continue being as adventurous as possible. In fact, I am currently working on achieving and finishing boy scouts to become an eagle scout. I would make a good addition to your program because of my leadership, willingness to try whatever is thrown my way, and my dedication to succeed on and of the field.
