My name is Andrew Velasquez. I play Varsity baseball and I am in the class of 2024 at Pasadena Memorial High School. I picked up a baseball at the young age of 4 and fully committed to the select baseball world at age 10. I feel I would make a good candidate for a team who needs a versatile player. A team who would quickly need to move me around from infield, to pitcher or even to outfield. I am an athlete who feels that nothing is given, but earned. I intend to show any collegiate level of baseball that I can bring the skills and more importantly the academic grades. I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA while training, being on a travel team, and being on the high school baseball team. This balancing of hard work I intend to keep fulfilling as I know academics are the core to the athletic opportunities I may have. What sets me apart from any other ball player is that I continuously work hard seven days a week on improving my bat, my defense, my weight training, and my vision for myself as an athlete.
