Kenzie Fernandez '26 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to continue my athletic career after high school playing volleyball and or pole vaulting. I have been playing volleyball for 4 years and I am a Varsity setter for my high school and club team. Last year, I qualified for the Area Track Meet for pole vaulting. 

I come from a competitive gymnastics background, which taught me how to compete in high pressure situations, fight through many obstacles to achieve my goals, and above all else to be a good teammate.  I strive to be better each day and know that falling short of my goals doesn't mean I have failed, but gives me a new place to start over and try again. 

I am currently in our high school's Early College Program where I will earn my Associates Degree along with my High School Diploma. This program is one that you must apply for and be accepted.  So far, it has taught me how to prioritize my time in conjunction with athletics in order to be successful in both areas.
