Field Hockey has played a prominent role in my life for the past seven years. My coaches, teammates, and the game itself have all shaped me into the goal-oriented person I am today, and continue to push me to become a better student-athlete. After being introduced to the sport by my older sister, I picked up a stick for the first time and haven't looked back since. Hockey has allowed me to meet new people and travel to new places, and has inspired me to become a better leader and more accountable individual both on and off the field. This sport has taught me to work hard and that, eventually, the hours of practice, film, and conditioning will all pay off for me and my teammates.
My goal is to continue to play competitive field hockey at the collegiate level and actively contribute to a winning program. While many players love the game as I do, few possess my interest and passion to learn about and be a student of the game. This passion carries over to a commitment to not only myself and my goals, but to those of my coaches and teammates.
