Personal Statement
My name is Alexis Schambers and I am in my senior year at Bayard Rustin High School in West Chester, PA. I love to play field hockey and I am looking to play for a college that I will continue to improve my game and get a great education as well.
I am a very hard worker on and off the field. With an outgoing personality I am easy to coach and get along with my team mates. I am committed to making myself a better student and player! My coaches have said a few of my better qualities are that I always communicate with players on the field. Whether it is motivating teammates, cheering someone up, communicating plays that are surrounding me such as marking a player, or communicating with my goalie on defense.
Currently I play field hockey for my high school fall season, winter indoor season for Horizon Field Hockey Club, spring season for Horizon Field Hockey Club, and camps/clinics during the summer months.
In the classroom I work very hard, and if I am struggling with something I always will go for extra help if available. Right now I plan to be an Occupational Therapist and work with children either in a school setting or in a hospital.
