Austin Farris '17 Recruiting Profile

I am currently an MK3 in the US Coast Guard, in High school,  I  started at fullback, all special teams and rotating in at middle linebacker, I have been wrestling since 2011 and have won 4 Alaska State Triple Crown Championships 2011,12,13 & 15.(Greco, Freestyle, and Folkstyle). I Wrestled at the Varsity level as a Freshman at Palmer High School and received a letter, I was Region Champion and State Runner up in my Sophomore year and Region Champion, 2 Time Region Champion and 5th place at State as a Junior, 3 time Region Champion and 4th place at State as a senior. I have played football for 7 years and have progressed to a team captain and All State player and leader of my peers. I can't wait to see what I will be able to do in the future. My dream is to be a Champion college athlete, A US Coast Guard Officer and a lawyer. I  graduated from MatSu Career Technical High School in 2017, and competed in sports at Palmer High School until then. I am ready to do whatever it takes to prepare and excel at the highest level of competition I can achieve. I am taking college classes focusing in science and math to prepare for Academy admission. Currently, my interest in an academic major is political Science and Law. The fruits of my talents will benefit my country,  myself and others.
