Personal Statement
My name is Raphael Andrades, but most know me simply as Raph. I get Ralph a lot, and thats ok but I prefer Raph. I am a 6'1" 190 lbs receiver at Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, FL. My summer forty time was 4.47 and it was done by our Head Coach - Yusuf Shakir. My Junior season, I lead the team in every statistical receiving category (receptions 41, yards 683, ypc 17.1, TDs 11), I was voted Offensive Team MVP, I was selected to the 1st team All-Big Bend, and we won the Class 4A State Championship. My Senor year I led the team again in every category (receptions 42, yards 801, ypc 19.1 TDs 13). I love football, and getting open as a receiver comes very easy to me. I would like to play football in College where it feels like home. I am open to playing anywhere as long as it is a good atmosphere. I am not opposed to playing in a small program, although my preference is one of the major powerhouses, because of exposure and future opportunities that it provides. Ultimately, my academic future is more important in the long run, so schools with histories of producing great Lawyers, or Engineers as an example are just as important. As a Freshman, I hope to be given the opportunity to compete for a position. May the best man win!
