Jack deButts '26 Recruiting Profile

Jack deButts will be starting RB and MLB in his Junior season on Varsity Football. He started as a sophomore as the Mike LB and played every game, all game and was on special teams. Prior to Varsity, he was starting RB and LB. Jack is a power runner. He is determined and strong and gets the extra yards in every carry as an RB. He did not start as RB in his sophomore year as two seniors had the spot, both playing in college. He is committed to excellence in academics and athletics with a 4.0 and a starter on Varsity Football and Lacrosse. He wants to play football in college and has a huge passion for the game. Ask any coach and they will say he is a leader on the field, in the classroom, and has a strong moral compass. He has high character and excellent work ethic. He is not only excellent to coach, but he inspires his teammates to excel. Jack shines on the field and as a testament to him - he regularly receives practice player of the week.
