Sports have always been my happy place. I have competed at a high level in numerous sports since elementary school. A long-term competitive gymnast who competed through Level 9 and qualified for regionals, I transitioned to competitive pole vault, track and lacrosse as a freshman in high school. Gymnastics instilled grit and tenacity which continue to benefit me. I confront athletic setbacks and obstacles with renewed determination and vigor.
After only three years, my current pole vault PR is 13 feet and 2.25 inches (3/16/2024). Since the beginning of April 2023, I have jumped over 12 feet during numerous meets, and have jumped over 12 feet during every meet my junior year - highlights include12' 6" to win regionals (4/25/23); 12' 7.50" (5/20/23); 12' 9" (7/15/23); 13' (7/29/23); 12' 10.5" (10/7/23); 12' 6" (1/15/24); 12' 5.5" (1/21/24); 12' 6" (2/21/24); 13' .25" (3/2/24), 12/ 9.5" (3/10/24), 13' 2.25" (3/16/24), 12' 8" (3/13/24), 12' 10" (4/3/24), and 13' (4/13/24). I was named an All-American, placing 5th at New Balance Indoor Nationals with a jump of 12' 9.5" on 3/10/2024. I won my age division at the Mac Vault Summer National Championships in Texas with a jump of 13 feet on 7/29/23. I am currently ranked first in Georgia overall, and was tied for first place in Georgia at the end of 2023 and for the 2024 indoor season. I was also named to Atlanta's 2023 All-Metro Track & Field Team.
During the spring of 2023, I won pole vault state, regionals and sectionals for Division 4A in Georgia. I hold Westminster's pole vault record. I qualified for New Balance Indoor Nationals and Adidas Outdoor Nationals. I PRed in the 100 meter and 200 meter runs with times of 12.84 and 26.30 seconds, respectively, and my 4x100 meter relay team broke Westminster's school record during 2023 regionals (49.13 seconds), and then broke our own record during 2023 sectionals (48.50 seconds) and again during 2023 state prelims (48.43). We have again broken our own record twice in 2024 - our current PR is 47.48 (3/13/24). We also hold the school record in the 4x200 meter relay (1:43.29) and took 6th place at state. Westminster's girls track team won Division 4A overall.
During my freshman track season in 2022, I won pole vault regionals and sectionals and came in second place as the state runner up for Division 3A in Georgia. I competed on the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relay teams and we qualified for state and broke Westminster's 4x200 relay record at that time. Westminster's girls and boys track teams won Division 3A overall.
I also play competitive lacrosse as a midfielder for Buckhead Stix (and previously for Atlanta Storm Elite Orange) and Westminster's Varsity Lacrosse Team. I qualified for state in cross country (PR 20 mins 46 secs) during the fall of 2022.
I am an A student at a highly competitive private school in Atlanta, with a cumulative average GPA of 98.88/100 in honors and AP classes.
I am fully invested in competing at the collegiate level as a pole vaulter. I hope to also contribute as a sprinter and mid-distance runner. Academics are critically important to me as well and I am eager to attend a top tier academic and athletic college. I currently plan to major in business, economics, or psychology.
I work relentlessly at everything that I do and will give my heart and soul to a collegiate athletic program.
