My name is Ricky Madison, and I'm a 6'0 285 lb football player. I am a senior at Carbondale community high school located in Carbondale, IL. During my Freshman year, I was put on the varsity team and started on special teams. In my sophomore year, I earned the starting position at right guard, and in my last two years, I have started and dominated at the left guard position.
My high school team had no football during the fall of my junior year, so I continued to improve my skills during the offseason. I have not taken for granted the time given to me to get stronger and improve my game during the delay of Illinois football that year due to COVID. My main attributes are my strength, Mental toughness, leadership qualities, and a high football IQ.
I have goals of continuing my education and athletic career at the collegiate level. My future life goal would be to pursue a career as an engineer. I strive to be a role model to my peers on and off the field and constantly aim to better myself and those around me every day, whether on the field, at school, or in my community.
