Marcus Blurton '20 Recruiting Profile

I began playing football in kindergarten and I played offensive line and defensive end up until the 8th grade.  When is was coming in to high school my coach wanted me to make the transition into playing quarterback.  He knew I was a pitcher in baseball and had a strong arm and good football knowledge from all of my years playing.  So my freshmen year I began playing quarterback and I was the starting JV quarterback.  I have been the starting varsity quarterback since my sophomore year.  I love the game of football and I constantly want to become a better football player and teammate.  I believe that football is a brotherhood and that there aren't any other sports that are like it.  My goal is to be able to play football at the next level and continue growing as a leader.  I always strive to be the kind of teammate you can look up to and come up and ask for help.  I am always the first person on the practice field and the last to leave.  Playing football is in my blood and I look forward to the chance to be able to play at the next level.
