Hi!
My name is Dylan Heiderscheidt. I am an involved, dedicated, and coachable student athlete looking for college level athletic opportunities. I have spent my high school career volunteering and doing my best in several extracurricular activities.
I am involved in 4 sports plus numerous extracurricular activities. My sports are football, wrestling, track and field, and trap. I have been a football starter since my freshman year, as a junior my football coaches choose me to be a captain, and as a senior my teammates voted me in as a captain. I qualified for the 2022 MSHSL Individual State Wrestling Tournament at 182 pounds. For track and field, I am the Shot Put 2022 Sub-Section Champion. In trap I qualified for the 2022 MSHL Individual State Trap Shoot, I was also top male in my conference as well as top gun. I have been an active FFA member since 7th grade. In 2021-2022 my advisors chose me as Treasurer, and in 2022-2023 they chose me to be Vice President. I am a Minnesota State award recipient for Forestry Management and Products, my project is currently being evaluated at the national level. Aside from my sports I was voted Senior Class President for Student Council, I am involved in National Honor Society, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
In additional to all my activities I maintain a 4.0 GPA while taking PSEO and College Now classes. I thoroughly enjoy my science and math classes and plan to major in this area in college. I work full-time during the summer for a farmer doing everything from washing equipment, mowing lawn, cleaning grain bins, maintaining equipment, and assisting with field tiling. I have also been finding and organizing rock-picking crews of 20+ teens for the past 4 years.
I hope you consider me as an athlete for you. I am certain I will rise to every challenge you present me. I want to be part of a team that works together, wins together, and loses together. Sports have been a big part of my life since Kindergarten, my coaches have always been pleased with my performance, put me in leadership positions and repeatedly call me "coachable." I am also proud to say as an elementary athlete I was always one of the first asked to fill in on other teams.
I sincerely look forward to hearing from you,
Dylan Heiderscheidt
