You win the locker room first. This is one thing that I have learned.  I have put a lot of work in building relationships with my teammates and I understand that it is definitely “We not Me”!

My name is Mandwel “Manny” Patterson and I would like the opportunity to further my education and play quarterback at your University.

I am a part of the class of 2027.  I will attend Massillon Washington High School, where I will be focused not only on getting better on the football field, but also earning enough credits to graduate at the top of my class.  When I attend college, I would like to major in computer science and/or business with a focus on entrepreneur studies.

Currently, I am taking high school level courses such as advanced geometry and honors English.  My GPA is 3.8.  I know it’s not a 4.0 but I like the quote by Jack Mau that says “You don’t have to be at the top of your class, being in the middle is fine, so long as your grades aren’t too bad.  Only this type of person has free time to learn other skills.” I will always strive to do my best in school, but I am somewhat of a perfectionist, I like to do everything to the best of my ability.

When it pertains to athletics, I have played quarterback since I was 6 years old.  I have started at the position since I was 8.  I train have with QB Coach Brad Maendler for the past 5 years (330-351-0617 @bradmaendler).  My middle school career has been extremely success.  I am most proud of being voted team captain by my teammates in 2022.  As a team we finished two years of middle school football 15-0-1.  Personally, I my personal statistics for 2022, 71-102 1,447 yrds, 20 TDs 5 Ints.  I increased my completion percentage by over 7 point from my 7th grade year, Brad has helped me become more consistent.

I am coachable and I love the game of football.  I strive to be a good teammate and a servant leader.  I am thanking you in advance for your consideration.
