My name is PJ Wallace and I am a 2025 athlete out of Bartlesville, OK. I have been playing football since I was 7 years old. My dreams and aspirations have been to play at the collegiate level since I first stepped foot on the field. I played other sports growing up, but football has always been my passion, especially after winning a championship in the first grade. I understand what an honor it would be to play at the college level. Football has always been a healthy outlet for me and allowed me to learn many valuable life lessons that I will continue to use as an adult. I thrive on being apart of a team as it means I am apart of something bigger than myself. I have learned from being a part of a team to respect others who are different from me and that in order to have success, we must all work together to accomplish a single goal.
In 2022, I was awarded Offensive MVP and Team MVP by my coaches and teammates as a sophomore. Our team began a rebuilding phase under new leadership in 2022 consisting of mainly underclassmen and earned a first round playoff victory for the first time since 2015. During this playoff game, I had a total of 245 rushing yards, 38 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. I ended the 2022 season with 1,731 rushing, 205 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns which allowed me to be a top leading rusher in Oklahoma and class 6A-II. Academics are very important to me and I have worked hard to achieve a balance between my grades and football so I can be successful in both. I also do community service with my teammates throughout the year as I believe it is important to give back to those in need.
My main attributes are mental toughness, confidence, and a competitive spirt with a strong desire to win. I also have a great work ethic and am constantly in the weight room, searching for opportunities to improve. During my high school career, I have been blessed to start on varsity defensive line as a freshman and running back my sophomore year. I have played both sides of the ball since I was 7 years old and would be grateful to play any position where coaches believe I am best utilized. I am certain that I will make a good addition to the right school’s football program and community.
