I started playing football for the Town of Mount Juliet at ten years old. Once I got the taste of the close bond between the families, teammates, and the comradery on and off the field, I knew football was for me. My interest in playing college football grew while playing at higher levels and talking to those that played in college. Family, bond, and comradery were the words used the most to describe their experience. Playing college football would be a dream of mine, but also an opportunity to grow and help influence today’s youth. I'm currently coaching my sister's flag football team, with my dad, for the Town on Mount Juliet. I've enjoyed working with the kids and helping them all grow and learn the game of flag football. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing the player get their first touchdown, interception, or touchdown pass.
Being one (1) of the smaller guys on the teams I played on, I knew I would have to work hard. I am always trying to better myself whether that is training, working out, or helping coach during the freshman games. With that, I have always prided myself at being very coachable, a team player, a good teammate, and a roll model for the younger players, which is another reason I wanted to coach my sister's flag football team. My parents have always taught me, it’s not just about how people view you on the field, it’s how you’re viewed off the field.
I want to attend a college where I can grow as a person, not only on the football field, but in the classroom and the community. No option is off the table, but I want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. No matter where I end up, I will continue to strive to become a role model to all my peers and my community, all while making my biological and extended family proud.
