My name is Caleb Mabasa. My ethnic race is Filipino. Both of my parents are both from the Philippines. Born and raised. But, came over to the US for a better life and to raise me and my brother. College and getting a sports scholarship is important to me because I want to help my parents for raising me. My collegiate goals are to play basketball in any division that will further me as a basketball player and in the classroom. Any college that will give me a chance, I will be very thankful to them. Also, I want to at least go to college and if I get the chance to play pro either overseas or the NBA I will consider the move. But, I for sure want to finish college because I know it will help me in the long run in the work force. What makes me a good candidate for a college roster is because I am a great teammate who always supports his teammates not just on the court such as keeping their heads up in tough situations, but also in the classroom. Also, I am very flexible and am okay with not being the center of attention and will do whatever it takes to make the team better. What makes me different from other recruits is that again, I am a very supportive teammate and great teammate off the court. Also, I am committed to the game and in the classroom as well. I will not just give you 100% on the court at all times but will also give you 100% in the classroom.
