My name is Trey Medina, and I am from the class of 2024. I have started on my high school varsity basketball team sophomore, junior, and senior year, and to say the least, I am very interested in playing basketball at the next level. Some things I think coaches should know about me are that I am a natural born leader. I have been considered a captain on any team that I have played on, (high school varsity football and summer league basketball) and overall I believe my worth ethic is what might make me stand out to others. I am not the type to give up, some call it heart, some call it grit, but I think its just that I refuse to fail, and I won't put forth anything other than 100% effort. I love the game of basketball more than anything else. It is my passion. No matter what, I will always be the type to put my head down and work. To me, nothing is better than seeing self-improvement. Ultimately, playing basketball at the next level is something I think that I can do or at least work hard enough so that I might get a chance. There is nothing I would want more than for this to not be my last year putting on a jersey.
