Arav Jagroop - So...Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Arav Jagroop. I am currently a senior attending the University of Illinois Laboratory High School. I play both basketball and tennis, however, I have decided that I would like to pursue basketball during my college experience.
Since I moved to the United States from Guyana, South America, I was not exposed to basketball until 5th grade. As soon as I was introduced to the sport, I was hooked. I love basketball. I love everything about it; from the ambiance of an arena to the sneakers on my feet. Basketball has been a revolving aspect of my life and I hope it can continue to be.
