I started diving in April of 2020 (8th grade) at a club called North Star Diving where they made me work very hard to start to excel in the sport. Prior to that, I had 2 years of experience in Freestyle Trampoline (Gtramp) where I was doing triple and even some quadruple flips in my backyard! I started diving for my high school my Freshman year and started varsity for every meet and even placed 5th at sections. This wasn’t enough for me though so I kept doing club diving in the off-season working very hard to keep getting better. This work paid off my sophomore season where I got 3rd at sections, All conference, and 14th at state! In the off-season, I started to take 3m more seriously and made it to zones! I also started platform diving this off-season. My goals for this upcoming season are to get new PRs, become a captain, break pool records, and get top 6 at state!
What makes me different from other divers is that I am a multi-sport athlete and also excel in school with a 3.818 GPA, multiple honors and AP classes, and being in the National Honors Society.
One of my biggest accomplishments was in the winter of 2022-2023 where I placed 3rd at sections and qualified for state for Diving and 7 days later won the Minnesota state meet for Olympic Weightlifting in the 73kg weight class
