John Pechon '22 Recruiting Profile

I have golf in my blood; my father, uncles, grandfather, and great-grandfather have all played the sport, so my connection to it is strong. Golf is more than a game to me; it is a source of happiness that I want to enjoy everyday of my life. While in college, I plan on pursuing many academic ventures alongside my athletic, eventually leading to the creation of a business of my own. I don't mean to sound egotistical, but I will outwork anybody. Once I have a goal in mind, I will do whatever it takes to attain it, crushing the competition in the process. Setting athletics aside, I have always prided myself on my academic drive and want to do good. I believe my love to learn is comparable to my initiative in golf, leading to success in the classroom. Lastly, through my years in the Boy Scouts, I have learned to "Do a Good Turn Daily" whether it be holding the door open or giving someone tips on their backswing.
