Personal Statement
Greetings. My name is Tevin Lewis. I am entering my Senior year at Capital High School in Helena, Montana. I currently hold a 3.55 GPA. During my Sophomore year of High School I improved in both my physical and mental play. I played in the first slot on our Varsity team and during my Junior year I was in the top ten for most of the tournaments I played in. I started focusing on golf in middle school where I became one of the hardest and strongest players in the Helena golf community. I often will be on the course until dark, unless I have school work to do then that is my priority. I strive to be the best I can be and will not settle for less. Currently, I am an active member of the National Honors Society. Outside of golf I enjoy volunteering when I am not working at Diamondback Golf Retail. In addition to golf, I enjoy the outdoors, river kayaking or boating on the lake during the summer months, or catching powder days up at the local ski hill during the winter. I am interested in schools that offer both a good education and a successful golf program. I have not finalized my decision on a major quite yet, but I am interested in something that pertains to math and science; such as Pharmacy or Computer Science.
