I started playing golf eight years ago, but only made it a priority over baseball for the last three years. In doing so, these last few years have been extremely fun with lots of opportunities to learn and grow as a person and golfer, as well as to meet new people. Because of these experiences, it has made me want to continue playing the game I love at the next level. This game has challenged me many times, but it only makes me want to come back better each time. These are also the types of things I'm hoping to get out of playing in college, being challenged on the course and in the classroom. I used to fear getting pushed out of my comfort zone, but now it is something I strive for and even embrace. For any team or group I am apart of, my goal is to be a good leader and to lead by example. I also want to bring the mindset of never being content and trying to achieve as much as possible, both physically and mentally.
