I have played hockey since I was around 5 and right when I started skating, it just clicked for me. I've loved hockey ever since. Every time I step on the ice I give 110 percent. To me, the logo on the front means a lot more than the name on the back. I play for my teammates and I never bring anyone down. I am also a very coachable person and am always open to suggestions to help me become a better player. I currently play for the 15u (year 06) Naperville Sabres in Illinois. We play in the Central States Developmental Hockey League. Academically, I apply that same mindset. I try my best to get good grades and help others. I also try to maintain a good social life as best as possible. I am in 2 honors classes and 1 AP class and I have a 3.5 GPA at the moment with a 3.9 weighted GPA. Grades aren't everything for me though. I like to enjoy my time at school and make positive relationships with good people that I can help and learn from.
My biggest goal in hockey at the moment is to make it into, and play for, a D1 school. I would also like to get scholarship money for academic success. I pride myself on both hockey and school and I hope to accomplish a lot in both. In school, I would like to pursue an education in a business-type career. I am confident that with hard work and dedication that I can accomplish any goal that I set for myself.
