I have been playing hockey since I was 4 and hockey has always been a passion of mine (as evidenced by the damage to my parents wood floor in front of the TV where I would stick handle from morning until night). I would like to study bio-medical engineering and represent my school by playing hockey at the juniors and college level.
I am a good candidate for any hockey team not only because of my hockey playing abilities, but my experience as a team captain and bringing everyone together and motivating them to do their best, my respect for the game, my teammates, coaches, other players and referees, as well as my desire to be a positive representation of the club or school I play for both on and off the ice (i.e. grades and good disposition).
What sets me apart from other players is the drive, grit, compassion and integrity I bring to a team. I am respectful and considerate of everyone and have a unique ability to bring whatever team I play with together, making our team better as a whole, and I am continually looking to better myself, my skills and abilities to be a consistent contributor to any team.
