Cole Stranathan '24 Recruiting Profile

 My ultimate goal is to play college hockey at the NCAA DIII or DI level and have decided to play Juniors this season in the NA3HL (LA Drillers) in order to work towards that goal. It was a difficult decision to leave home and the friends that I have gained in our small community but with recommendations from multiple Tier 1 coaches it was a sacrifice I decided to make to allow me a chance at the next level. I was named a top 3 forward at the Nashville Elite Edge Showcase Juniors Division (250+ participants) this Spring after playing Defense last season. I received praise for my raw ability at NCDC Main Camp and NAHL Training Camp and look forward to visiting those options again in the near future. I have been blessed with elite 200 ft speed and a tenacity that separates me from the pack and translates well when I play better competition. I am currently looking for additional opportunities at the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Juniors level and I am highly motivated and dedicated to making it at that level. I have great instincts and good things happen when I am on the ice. I am also a level 4 USA Hockey Referee and give private lessons to younger aspiring players.
