Personal Statement
I have always known that I wanted to go to college. I am really looking forward to the whole college experience. I'm a very hard working student so I am excited to work hard in college and graduate with the highest degree possible. I am looking for a school that can challenge me both athletically and academically. I began playing lacrosse at the age of 7. My dad was introduced to it by our neighbor and decided that's what he wanted me to play. Ever since my first season this game has been my passion. On the field I was the kid always delivering the hardest hits but being tough enough to receive them. Being a leader has always been my goal, and I believe building the team up, and always keeping a positive attitude is essential to a successful team. I like to always have a positive attitude!
My sophomore year of high school, when I fractured my fibula, I was informed that I had a bone tumor. Thankfully it was nothing serious but I did have surgery to get it removed. After that I had to attend Physical Therapy to get it back to prime conditions. I worked hard during the season and in the off season was dedicated to coming back stronger than I was. This experience made me realize my hard work and passion for this sport. I believe that no matter how good you are you can always become better. I welcome advice and corrections because I always want to become better any way that I can.
