Personal Statement
I am lacrosse player at John Carroll on the Varsity team in Bel Air, Maryland. I am 180lbs and 6 ft tall . I am in my Junior year and my second year on Varsity. I am a starter on both my high school varsity team and my Club team Harford Mavericks 2015. I prefer to play wing defensemen but I am completely comfortable with playing on the crease. Two years ago My Junior Varsity team went undefeated and won the MIAA B Conference championship and last year our Varsity Team went to the MIAA B conference championship finishing second in our league. This season my team was the number one seed in our division and made it to the semi finals finishing our season with a record of 9-8 . My strengths include clearing , speed , agility and Lacrosse IQ. I also am not afraid to take a hit for ground balls. I currently hold a 3.6 GPA with 4 honors class. In non-lacosse season I participate in competitive powerlifting on a national level through WNPF and lifting weights and conditioning at least three days a week.Also throughout the season I keep up with lifting weights at least once a week . I am looking for a college that has a rigorous academic program and at a competitive athletic program. I want to major in Engineering so I would also like a school with a good engineering program.My dream is to play Division 1 lacrosse but I am open to any opitions such as Division 2 and 3 .
