Alexander DuBreuil '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Alexander DuBreuil and I am currently playing for 2007 ECNL Delmar Surf and go to Saint Augustine High School. I started playing soccer at the age of 6 and fell in love with the game, and my passion for the beautiful game has been growing ever since. My dream goal for soccer is to go pro, preferably overseas. However, I still want to achieve my academic goals and always want to be able to have a second backup plan. I aspire to play D1 soccer because it offers a very high level of football along with a great education. After college, I hope to play first-division soccer, whether that is in the MLS or in Europe. 

I currently play for one of the best teams in the nation, winning both our tournaments in the top bracket, Man City Cup, and Surf Cup, and Nationals, all in 2023. I go to a competitive and challenging high school, one of the best schools in California, with my high school team winning CIF in the open division 2023 and 2024 and winning D1 state in 2024. I am very disciplined and work extremely hard in order to achieve my goals. I have a great work ethic, and as a full-back, I have great stamina, I can run forever, up and down the field all game. I am a confident player and always believe in myself. I am very fast and have technical dribbling skills along with an aggressive sense of defense. I have a great ability to find great passes and produce beautiful crosses. 

Not only am I very talented in the game of soccer, but I am also a great student. My school, Saint Augustine is known for its rigorous academics, I am a junior and  have a 4.0. cumulative and currently a 4.6 overall in my classes.  Along with my good grades I also do Boy Scouts, helping me to become smart with time management and learn discipline. I am currently the second highest rank, Life, and on my way to achieving Eagle. This organization, along with school and soccer, have all taught me life lessons and gifted me with a sense of leadership, all preparing me for college.
