As a dual German-American citizen, I was born with soccer in my blood. I also ended up playing soccer because my Mom didn’t want me to play a “really” physical sport like football (little did she know...). I was 7 years old when I spent my first summer in a soccer camp in Germany together with my older brother, which I have continued for several years. I have been a loyal player for my club team Concorde Fire since I was an U8, and I have played every position on the pitch. Lately, I have played mainly in defense. For my club, I played in ECNL, DA and R3PL, and I was on the Georgia ODP team. I was a freshman, sophomore and junior starter for my high school team, which won the Georgia State Championship for the last 3 years. I was named Defender of the Year and Captain for my senior year.
I am an athletic, technical, and versatile player who reads the game well and is very coachable. In addition to soccer, I have played basketball in Middle School and golf in High School.
As much as I enjoy playing soccer, academics are most important to me. I have excelled in my first three years of high school and will continue to challenge myself in AP and honors courses offered by Westminster, the private school in Atlanta that I have attended since pre-first. I am mostly interested in Economics, Finance and STEM related subjects.
I would like to attend a medium to large sized college with excellent academics and a competitive soccer program.
