2021 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Charlie Young, I am a 2024 Striker/Winger from the University of Chicago Laboratory School in Chicago, Illinois. I plan to attend Choate Rosemary Hall as a Post Graduate Student Athlete for the 2003-2024 school year. I also play for the Chicago Fire Young Club.
I have always been a very coachable player, I'm a speedy player with a great vision, finishing skills. My dad played football at college and the NFL. He taught me the importance of hard work, grit, and sacrifice.
I strive to be a balance student-athlete. While sports are extremely important to me, I believe you can be great at both. My grades have improved each year during high school. I look forward to continuing that trajectory during my Post Graduate year at Choate.
I want to attend a college that has strong academics, a great athletics program, a proud tradition, and a welcoming community.
