Hey, my name is Jan. To start off my priorities are school, soccer, and family. Grades are always the most important and I am taking all honors classes right now, but soccer is something that I love doing. To start off, I am a self motivated player, (a lot of ball work at home, running in the morning, and going to the gym). I am also really good at adapting to new tactics and I am ready to adapt to coaches’ playing styles. Lastly I’m not afraid to speak out on the field and I am always vocal.

- I and our team HDS EAGLES 07 Premier, tied with Gunners 07 in the semifinals 2:2 regular time, with no goals in extra time, and finally, we lost in penalties 3:4. It was a very intense game. The Gunners tied 2:2 after a conversational penalty given 3 min to the end of the game. We tried hard but playing in 95 deg heat, short one-player the entire extra time was hard. It was an amazing tournament overall. My team proved their place in the top four teams in the USA.

- Thank you Jan Szmajda and his team HDS Eagles 2007 for historical achievement for our club by winning the 2021 XX National Cup Regional Tournament🏆 Boys U-14 Super Division Beating Illinois State Cup champions Libertyville 1974 3:1 for a place in the Final. Then winning 5-0 vs Sockers FC in the final. 🥇⚽👏👏👏 We are going to Colorado for National Cup XX Finals. The National Cup is US Club Soccer’s cup-based championship series. U-13 through U-18/U-19 teams from qualifying state cups and the 6 National Cup Regional advance to National Cup Finals.
