Personal Statement
Becoming League Champions for the first time in school history is the highlight of my soccer career, being a captain as a junior made it even more special. As a student-athlete, a pivotal event in my high school soccer career was when we switched coaches between my freshman and sophomore seasons. I realized what a difference a coach could make to a team and individuals on and off the soccer field. I would like to emulate these same characteristics in my future career as a teacher/coach.
My objective is to find a college program that allows me to pursue my academic and athletic goals. The student-athlete experience would further advance the leadership and values that I have developed through athletics, academics, and earning my Eagle Scout. These characteristics and work ethic are what I believe will help me be a valuable member and leader in your program.
