Kristian Baker '25 Recruiting Profile

Playing college soccer has been a dream of mine since a very young age and, as I get older, it has become a significant goal of mine. I leverage soccer to help me free my mind of many of life's worries and being on the field has been a source of joy and freedom I love. Whenever I lace up, whether for practice or a game, I focus on giving 100% to help our team win. I really enjoy being a defender, it gives me a chance to, literally, have my teammates' backs. They rely on me to keep our side safe and free from our opponent's goals. I do this really well, as I want to perform and ensure I help out my team. I have always loved team sports. Developing close relationships with my team and coaches has been a source of positivity for as many years as I can remember. As I have gotten older, I find myself stepping into my position as a role model of hard work, effort and a little fun. I believe I bring a sense of team spirit and am often told I bring significant energy to my team, especially on the field. I look forward to training and competing at the next level and developing another set of lifelong friendships with my college teammates.
