I am a senior (2024) at Wayzata High School. This year is my third season on the high school varsity team, a captain playing as a center midfielder. My club team is the Minnesota Thunder Academy ECNL 19 team coached by Mark Yueill.
Due to both of my older siblings playing soccer growing up, I learned about the game at a very young age. Being at the field with them, as well as watching them play, provided me with a great understanding of the game and the many life lessons that can be learned. A few of these lessons being leadership, teamwork, and respect (for coaches, referees, and all players) which have and will continue to help me develop as a soccer player and teammate. I also believe that these valuable lessons will help better shape me to play at a higher level.
When I am not playing soccer, I volunteer weekly at a local food shelter which has allowed me to take a step back and truly appreciate what I have and the incredible opportunities that are available to me.
I have many goals for my future in education and athletic. In terms of my athletic goals, I aim to play soccer at a D1 collegiate level and eventually professional (if the opportunity arises). To do this, I know there will be sacrifices and I will work hard to achieve my goals.
