Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Nic Colvin of the class of 2020. I currently play for Windham High School and GPS NH 2002 NPL. For high school, I was a state runner-up as a sophomore and the captain of my team as a junior. As for club, I have played with this team for about 7 years now and have won multiple state championships along with one national championship. I feel as if I am a good candidate for any team as I am a very versatile player. For high school I played CB and CDM and for club played LB, RB, LW, and RW. I also feel as if I am a very strong leader on the field. Being the captain of my high school team as a junior, I have already gained a lot of experience with this role but then going to club where I am not the captain I still find ways to lead my team in the right direction. Off the field I participate in multiple clubs including DECA and Model UN and take multiple challenging AP and honors classes. I currently have over 200 hours of community service through going on mission trips, starting my own charity, and speaking to schools about volunteerism. Through my charity, I have brought over 1,000 solar lights to the western mountains of the Dominican Republic on my mission trips. I have a passion for community service and love spreading it to others which is why I speak to elementary and junior high schools about it. Overall I feel like I have a very determined personality and it really comes out on the field. I work my hardest for whatever team I am playing for and have unrelenting will to win.
