I am a 5’8” varsity center defender from Windham NH. I have started at center defense on the varsity team since freshman year and have played every game since in that position. I was the only junior elected captain this 2019 season along with three seniors. I pride myself on being reliable and available for every game. I take my fitness and health seriously and believe this has helped me remain as injury-free as possible. When I am not playing for my school I play club soccer for the Aztecs. This is an NEP team where I have been able to float between both NEP and NPL level teams when help is needed. For my club, I start as a central defender on the NEP team but when I help the NPL team I play any defensive position they may need.
I am a focused, driven, athlete that is anxious to play at the next level in college but I also take my studies very serious and currently have a 3.64 GPA. Nursing is the area of study I am most interested in and I was accepted in 2019 to a CTE program at Salem NH High School to learn all about Nursing and health sciences.
As a central defender, I have learned that I need to be a leader on the field and this has carried over off the field as well. I was elected captain of our SALT Club (Student Athletic Leadership Team). We study leadership and I coach and mentor underclassmen both in sports and academics. My ideal university would be where I can excel in my studies and as an athlete balancing on and off the field activities to my highest potential.
