My name is Sean Varghai and my plan is to be a Shark Biologist. I love playing soccer and have played since I was 3 years old. I am currently going into my junior year at Wakefield High School in Raleigh, NC and play for Wake FC‘s NPL team. My freshman year I made the Varsity team at my high school in Sarasota FL as a freshman out of over 100 people that tried out and won the Freshman of the Year Award.
I am an extremely hard worker who is versatile enough that my coach has played me in every position on my club team this year already except goalie. I love Center Mid (8 position) but excel at Attacking Center Mid, Defensive Center Mid, and Winger as well. My strength is in my mental game. I am very good at knowing where everyone is and where I want to go before I even receive the ball. I prefer a 2 touch style play where I can create excellent plays from nothing. I consider myself to be pretty mature for my age and stay focused at practices and games. I also get along with most people and feel I am pretty easy to get along with too.
My freshman year I was in several Pre-IB Classes as well as an AP History class and have a very high GPA. This year I will be taking 3 AP classes as well as honors classes. Doing well in school is very important to me so that I can achieve my goal of being a Shark Biologist one day.
I would love the opportunity to continue my soccer career in college and look forward to the recruiting process.
