Jordan Clark '28 Recruiting Profile

I am a self-motivated student athlete who’s passionate about playing soccer at the collegiate level and believe I can adapt to the tactical, technical and physical demands of the collegiate game. I have the versatility and flexibility to play effectively in almost every position on the field. I am the type of player who is committed to working hard every time I step on that field and doing my job to help make my team a success all around. I am seeking a position at a college to inspire a growth mindset and culture that delivers on commitments and promotes core team values.

I have been awarded Captain for this 2023-2024 club soccer season for my team and it has allowed me to further strengthen my leadership skills both on and off the field. I believe my rigorous class course load and playing three sports have prepared me for the challenge of balancing academics and athletics in the future. While playing and training for soccer is a year round commitment, I am also a part of the basketball and track teams simultaneously, to maintain endurance.

Achievements: I was given an amazing opportunity to train with the Columbus Crew Academy, which its purpose is to develop professional players that embody excellent character for the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer. Recently, I was selected as top player in a Dutch Camp to play with other top state talent for a Dutch Pro Team, where I traveled to play in Netherlands at professional clubs and practiced under their staff supervision, alongside elite athletes to both train and compete with professional programs in Europe.
