My name is Ian Bonnett and I will be graduating from Buckeye High School in 2024. My goal is to play college soccer at a school that fits my playing style and will welcome me with open arms. I have the drive to go to a college that will challenge me athletically and even academically. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and my love for the game has only grown since. The coaches along my journey have helped me be better not only at soccer but a better person as well. I am currently playing for my high school team (Buckeye High School) in Medina, Ohio. Before high school i played travel soccer most of my life while also playing at a competitive club level for Cleveland Force then moving to North FC.
I play Center Back and Defensive Mid however, I am a versatile player and can play almost everywhere. As a player I like to do what is best for the team, play with a chip on my shoulder, be competitive, physical, have fun, and contribute to the teams effort to be successful.
Academics are also a very important aspect to me. Through my 2 years of High School this far I’ve had an 4.05 average gpa. My junior year I will begin taking college courses as well.
My goal is to be the best version of myself on and off the field. I am seeking the interest in the major of studying sports analytics and sports management and a minor in sports broadcasting.
