My name is Philip Iozzi and I am a 2021 graduate from Pittsburgh, PA. I began playing soccer at 5 years old and have never wanted to stop playing. While other kids were chasing butterflies, my first coach (my Mom), said that I didn't want to let go of the ball. I haven't wanted to stop playing since then.
I have learned to commit to something and not give up playing soccer. It has also taught me to work hard not only at soccer, but at school and in every area of my life. Often when things are difficult, I have learned perseverance. Soccer has also allowed me to cope with negative things in my life and turn it around.
I want to to continue to playing soccer at a competitive level in college, while studying engineering or pre-med.
