Personal Statement
I have always believed that being a goal driven athlete goes hand in hand with being a strong academic student. The more time I am putting into my swimming, the better I am doing in school with my grades. My focus and clarity both physically and academically align with one another. I want to swim in college because I have the passion to pursue my personal talent as a sprinter in the pool while working to achieve my personal desire to do well in college and become an engineer. I was raised by both a teacher and an engineer as parents, and I have that mentality that A+B=C. I equate it with 'swim fast'+'study hard'='personal life goal'. I would love to pursue that with a university/college that can help me meet my goal.
