Swimming has been a very important part of my life. When I was in 4th grade, I was diagnosed with Dyslexia and was looking for a sport that would help me focus, give me confidence and help take my mind off the things I was struggling with at school. I found swimming helped with all that. With swimming I have learned that hard work and dedication pays off, and I have used these lessons in school to help me when I need it. I have to work extra hard because of my Dyslexia, and apply that to all aspects of my life. I would love the opportunity to continue swimming in college.
