Craig Shipley '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Craig Shipley and I am looking to go to college for discus. I just recently started falling in love with the sport. My coach is making me a workout plan for the weight room that is just working around disc and getting better. I love the sport and we practice as much as possible and improve on things that need work. Right now I am looking to receive a scholarship from any size of school. I am looking to do disc for as long as possible and will do anything to improve and be the best. I would be willing to go to any size school on a scholarship.  Right now my PR in a meet is 122’ 1”. I am hoping for 135’ by the end of the year. My coach thinks that is very realistic. He attended college on a disc scholarship at Mckendree university. He is very educated about the sport and has helped a lot.
