2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Track and field has been a blessing in the skies for me. Racing at New Balance Nationals as a freshman opened my eyes to love the sport. Since then I have accomplished feats that I wouldn’t have thought were possible for myself. There have been many times where I have lost and failed to reach my goals, but that is why I relish the chance to compete and always give it 110% in every race. This ultimately helped me reach the strong drive to improve upon my craft no matter the hour or circumstances. Sadly, Covid has taken away racing for the time being. However, I have been training vigorously and intelligently to be prepared for when opportunity arises again.
