I have been an active participant and runner in Track and Field since Middle School. I have always aspired to run at the collegiate level. This is a personal goal I have set for myself.
Speed and quickness combined with determination and self discipline set me apart from other runners as I strive for continuous improvement as a runner and a teammate. Contributing to my success in high school track, has been my teammates and coaches guiding me to my best performances as an individual and as a runner on relay teams. Track and Field has taught me that I am constantly pushing myself to be better and faster than the day before and also provides an environment where there is a support system of runners and athletes at meets that are all trying to make each other better.
Not only do I want to attend a college where I can accomplish my track and running goals, I have goals in the classroom. I have taken the top courses offered at Sevier County High School and have a 4.0 GPA. This is preparing me for success at the academic level and collegiate athletic level. I am also a 4 year Varsity football punter and kicker for my school and have been awarded for my successes on the football field for this position. I was accepted as a participant in the Smoky Mountain Youth Leadership program my Sophomore year which has given me the opportunity to serve my community and school as a leader for the future.
I am open to all options and ultimately want to find the right college where I can compete at the highest level and achieve my academic goals.
