Hannah Smyth '21 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play college softball. The sport is my passion. There isn't a day I would choose not to be on the field with my teammates. I see a team for more than it is, my team becomes my family. I am fully committed in everything that I do. I have lots of versatile skills that would allow me to assist my team in whatever they need. I am self driven and determined to do the best that I can do no matter what it is. Softball is the only sport that I play, but I have skills from sports that I have previously played. I feel as playing only softball has allowed me to dedicate all my time in sharpening my skills. As a student athlete, I put schoolwork above softball no matter what. Grades are the determining factor in all my choices. I push myself to be the best in all that I do whether that may be softball or school. Whatever my task is, I put all my effort into it.
